Premium Nutraceuticals (PNI) Prodigy 30 Servings | Review

Premium Nutraceuticals or better know as PNI stepped up to the plate with their all new pre workout, Prodigy. After speaking with Chad and Eric Broser about this amazing new product, we had to try it out ourselves. Stating “we”, a handful of employees and a few selected routine customers we had try out this product for feedback. What we got was something we did not expect…

Here is just some of our responses to the product Prodigy:

Major M. – ” I thought it was a joke when I read the label, could they honestly have all this stuff in 1 scoop? Huh, now I used a very large variety of pre-workouts, hands down this one is my new #1! The energy is insane and the pumps are massive…nicccee.”

Rich J. – “..the taste was good, figured that’s all it had that was good was taste. Until it kicked in and I hit the gym. I feel bad for how bad I beat those weights up. I felt as if I was on a treadmill at max speed with a pump so full, I felt as if my skin was going to tear. “

Mike M. – “Like a caged animal. Set after set I would pace the gym with more energy then I knew what to do with. The flavor Watermelon was one of the best tasting pre workout powders I tasted in a while. I used a ton of different pre workouts before, I would say this quickly made it to the top on my list of needs for the gym. Oh and not to mention, I felt like the size of King Kong after my workout… ridiculously swole.”

For most, trial and error are how people get a feel on how products work with their bodies. Some are great experiences and some not so well. With this run with Prodigy, we have yet to hear much of any negative feedback. The only stand out constant feedback we got was a just minor crash(exhaustion) post exercise. (Although rest does great for the body, maybe not a bad thing to take a cat nap post workout?)

In conclusion with the feedback we had received, PNI has came through with a bang and their pre workout product as well as their entire line of supplements are on the way to the top hand full of people at a time.

Omega-3 Fatty Acid (EPA)

The benefits of some of the best overall Omega-3 fatty acids can help keep your heart healthly but also has other great essential functions to your everyday health.

What is Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)? The EPA portion of the DHA/EPA you see on most common on Omega-3 containers is short for Eicosapentaenoic acid (pronounced i-cos-a-pent-aen-o-ic acid). EPA is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that is consumed naturally for eating oily fish or fish oil – ex., cod liver, salmon, menhaden and sardine. You can also find EPA in various types of edible seaweeds as well as breast milk. EPA is not found directly in fish but is consumed by fish eating algae. Salmon is among the highest fish containing EPA and is found in most dinning menu’s today. Although some of these fish contain low levels of mercury, the Food and Drug Administration has found that consuming several servings of fish each week poses no risk to healthy people and conveys many health benefits.

Most people in the Western world do not get enough omega-3 fatty acids in their diet. When one reaches out to Omega-3 or Fish Oils, the well known use is intended to assist in lowering the risk with heart related diseases, lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of blood clots and help improve arteries essentially lowering the risk of heart diseases. Some use in conjunction with Asprin to help treat heart related diseases. Although used to treat heart conditions, this combination can also run the higher risk of bleeding. We recommend speaking to your doctor before using this combination as well as any other dietary supplement.

Gym Etiquette 101

So you just guzzled down your best pre workout and are ready to tear into a intense workout. Setting your eyes on a bench, you set up shop and are ready to go. Just then you realize dumbbells are missing or mix matched and the bench is covered in sweat. Awesome.

This might sound like a rant about gym etiquette and cleanliness at your fitness facility but out of everyone we talk to about it, 90% couldn’t agree more. Disgusting and irritating. Here  are the top five (5) gym pet peeves.

  1. Problem: Sweat
Solution: Grab a spray bottle, towel and clean it up. No one wants to touch it.
  2. Problem: Putting weights back.
Solution: You picked it up to use it, put it back where it belongs even it was in the wrong spot to begin with. Lazy people don’t assist other lazy people.
  3. Problem: Theft of machine, bench, rack or weights.
Solution: If it is obvious someone is using any of the above, they walk to the water fountain, that is not an open opportunity to snag them up. Ask if done or ask to join. Be friendly.
  4. Problem: Staring creepy at women working out.
Solution: Stop being creepy, pull in your tongue and continue your workout. Simple?
  5. Problem: Making fun of “fat” or over weight people.
Solution: Shut it. Focus on yourself and no one else.

I would assume to most this does not seem difficult but to those it applies to, become educated and use correct etiquette. Please feel free to comment below if you would like to add to this on going list.

Oxy Elite Pro | Elite Thermogenic

The New USPlabs Oxy Elite Pro elite thermogenic is among the top products to help burn body fat. With the new formula being released some ask, “Does it work the same?”

After using the old formula of USPlabs Oxy Elite Pro, some would say its not close where others believe it works relatively the same way. The feedback from most people that had used Oxy Elite Pro before, loved it and the results it had yielded. Most still use the new formula as well, enjoying the results that Oxy Elite Pro is still bringing them.

Since the grey area of the ban on DMAA (1, 3 Dimethylamylamine or geranium oil), USPlabs has reformulated their most infamous product, Oxy Elite Pro. To correct what is being rumored to be a “fake” and exposing those that are indeed fake, we have attached images are of the ingredients.

The old formula containing the DMAA and the new formula containing NO DMAA. The bottles are still the same size. The difference with some of the new print and the old print are very few, some words have a different font type, some are items are in RED and labeled on the new formula bottle “NEW” (obviously).
